The Vile Vortices

The following was sent in by my biggest fan (initials are EY):

I was watching a movie about the bermuda triangle and started
thinking, whether there were places like this in oceania. So I looked
it up and found the 'vile vortices', one of which is the 'loyalty
islands' right on the course a plane would take to fly to LA. The
relationship between the vortices (potentially travel portals) could
explain why the black rock, eko's airplane, and the french lady's team
all made it to the island, and why desmond's girlfriend noticed the
electromagnetic force in the north pole.
